Come out and show the public what the labor movement is all about....SOLIDARITY. USW is involved in an ongoing lockout at Sherwin Alumina that has passed the four-month mark. We will rally with them on San Felipe then they will come out to our halls and picket lines.

On Oct. 11, 2014, Sherwin Alumina, owned by the hugely profitable
global corporation Glencore, locked out 450 members of USW Local 235A at the alumina refinery in Gregory, Texas. The company has demanded deep cuts in benefits for both active workers and retirees.
On Thursday, February 26th, please join USW members for a rally outside Glencore's Houston offices. These brothers and sisters need our full support as they fight for a fair contract.
